What’s the difference between buying leads and a free listing?
Lead purchase is for trades — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, and similar jobs where a homeowner needs someone matched to an urgent repair. You pay per lead we send you. A free listing is for everyone else — food trucks, photographers, instructors, cleaners — and it costs nothing. Homeowners find you in the directory and contact you directly.
How much does a lead cost?
It depends on the trade and the job. We will discuss pricing directly when we call you with a specific lead — there is no subscription or upfront fee to get set up as a lead buyer.
Are leads exclusive to me?
We aim to send each lead to one contractor at a time based on trade, service area, and availability. Ask us directly about exclusivity when we call.
What if a lead is bad — wrong number, already hired someone else?
Tell us. We handle that on a case-by-case basis and would rather make it right than have you distrust the next lead we send.
Do I need to be licensed and insured?
For licensed trades, yes — we ask about license and insurance status when you apply and expect it to be current. For directory listings in non-licensed categories, it depends on what you offer.
How long until I hear back after applying?
We review applications personally, usually within a couple of days. For lead buyers, we will call you when we have a matching job in your trade and area.
